2. Payment Processing and Financial Security
YantraVeda does not store credit card numbers, debit card details, CVVs, UPI PINs, or net banking passwords on our servers. Online checkout is handled independently by Payhip, with payments processed through certified payment gateways such as Razorpay (or other providers configured within Payhip). All payment data is encrypted and processed directly by these regulated financial processors according to industry-standard security protocols. YantraVeda only receives confirmation of payment success, transaction IDs, and customer email addresses to enable digital delivery.
3. Third-Party Service Providers and Data Sharing
To operate our digital bookstore, we work with trusted service providers: Payhip for checkout and digital product delivery; Razorpay for payment processing; Cloudflare and Vercel for website hosting, edge caching, and DDoS defense; Neon Serverless PostgreSQL for durable order records; Cloudflare R2 for encrypted digital asset storage; and Resend/Hostinger for transactional emails and customer support communications. Customer information is shared with or processed by these providers only to the extent strictly necessary to process payments, deliver files, provide support, prevent abuse, or comply with statutory requirements. YantraVeda does not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third-party marketing agencies or data brokers.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies Audit
YantraVeda.com does not use invasive third-party advertising pixels (such as Meta or Twitter pixels) or external behavioral tracking scripts. We utilize only essential first-party storage: (a) a functional 'yantras_lang' cookie to remember your chosen language (Hindi, English, or Hinglish) across pages; and (b) browser local storage to preserve language and display preferences. When you navigate to Payhip's hosted checkout to complete a transaction, Payhip's own domain operates under its independent cookie and tracking policies, which are governed by Payhip's privacy terms.
5. Data Retention and Your Privacy Rights
We retain order transaction records, customer emails, and download license histories for as long as necessary to provide ongoing product access, verify authentic purchases, resolve disputes, prevent fraudulent chargebacks, and satisfy applicable accounting and statutory obligations under Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act) and the DPDP Rules, 2025 as they come into phased effect. You have the right to request access to the personal data we hold about you, request corrections to inaccurate records, or request the deletion of your personal data, subject to our mandatory statutory record-keeping and fraud-prevention requirements.
